Is it a technical constraint or a design decision? Because it still could be done while walking, couldn't it?

Hi,

  • The animated font in the beginning is giving me a headache. Try to make it more static.
  • The music choice is very good!
  • The gameplay is just fun! I really liked the ideas and the challenges.
  • The graphics are modest but fit to overall style of the game
  • The main character moves bit too quick, sometimes it's purely matter of my dexterity.

As for the page: I find it fitting to the style of your game so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Overall it was fun to play it. Very good work, especially for your first project.

Hi, if you deployed it for WebGL you would greatly improve the probability of someone testing it. I'm on a mac so there is no way for me to test it.

Hello there, here is my feedback:

  • Gaming experience and how intuitive it is: It took me a while until I realised that I can grab the ball only on the green area + it's pretty hard to throw it to the basket + it's very hard to do it multiple times in a row.
  • Art style and aesthetics: for this type of game it's just right.
  • Flaws, deal breakers and inconveniences: It's a bit difficult to play, try to tweak the sizes of the objects. It's very hard to throw it between the basket and the screen edge in the right angle.
  • UI organization and customization availability: UI is simple but understandable.
  • Where to improve and what areas to focus on: Difficulty and clarification that the round/match doesn't end with one throw.
  • Overall impressions and if you would play it again: It looks good, I would play it again if it was more possible to hit a score :)

    I filled out your survey. What kind of API you are trying to accomplish? Do you have your own model or do you use some existing service and you add a layer on top?

    Hi, I tested it for a while and here is my feedback:

    • It's a nice arcade, fun to play to just sit and relax
    • the sounds and visuals are nice
    • Input has some issues. I can only shoot when I don't move which is very annoying.
    • The collision of the character seems to be only on the lower half. When I get the green dot, I have to step on it with lower half of the body. It's bit counterintuitive.
    • Some kind of points would be nice: how far you get or how many enemies you've killed.

    Keep it up, it looks promising!

    Hi, I'd like to test it but it has only a windows version. I'm on mac so no way to launch it. A WebGL version would help a lot.

    Hello folks!

    I'm working on a game where you can learn lua programming language by actually playing the game.

    The objectives of the game are

    • To learn basics of the syntax: functions, if-else, loops, variables etc..
    • To learn how to think like a programmer: to address compile and runtime bugs, to solve problems in most easy ways, to discover the smart way of solving the problem instead of the hard way etc.
    • All this while solving the puzzles!

    Currently it's in a very early stage, so you won't learn so much from it :) But it does have the initial feeling I wanted to express.

    I plan to add more interactive objects, programmable items, maybe some craftings etc.

    Also I will add some simple story to give it some human touch, but for the current stage it wasn't crucial

    The gameplay lasts for around 5 mins.

    Please give me very general feedback on the game:

    • Is this kind of game playable? Is it fun?
    • Is the UI and camera movement the right choice?
    • Is there anything unclear, confusing or difficult? UX and gameplay wise?
